Itinerary

Day 1
Hong Kong - Kuala Lumpur - Semporna

Depart from Hong Kong and arrive at Tawau Airport via Kuala Lumpur.
Meet the representative and transfer to the hotel in Semporna (approx. 70-minute drive).

Day 2
Semporna - MV Celebes Explorer 9

Check out after breakfast. Own transfer arrangement to Semporna office at about 3pm.
Check-in on the Celebes Explorer 9, followed by a briefing. Enjoy free time, followed by dinner and overnight stay on board.
(No diving on Day 2)

Day 3
Sipadan and Mabul Island

2 dives in Sipadan, followed by 2 dives in Mabul.
Note: The 4th Mabul dive will depend on local curfew regulations.

Day 4
Sipadan and Mabul Island

2 dives in Sipadan and 1 dive in Mabul.
Note: 24-hour surface interval required before flight.

Day 5
Semporna - Kuala Lumpur - Hong Kong

Check-out from the boat at 7:00 AM, then transfer to Semporna.
At 8:30 AM, take a car transfer to Tawau Airport and fly back to Hong Kong via Kuala Lumpur.

Package Rate NOT Includes

Airport tax, security charges, fuel surcharge, and airfare surcharge (if any).
Entry visa (if required).
Compulsory Travel Insurance (Coverage : scuba diving).
Crew gratuities, gear rentals, Nitrox, and other incidental expenses.
Tourism Tax: RM 10 per room per night (pay on-site).
Fuel Surcharge: Due to the volatility of international crude oil prices and geopolitical situations, the boat operator reserves the right to adjust the fuel surcharge. This fee is not included in the package price. The final amount will be determined based on the latest announcement by the boat operator prior to the departure date. Guests are required to pay the relevant fee directly to the boat operator upon boarding.

The diver package is valid for certified divers only.

Tickets are non-reroutable, non-endorsable, and non-refundable. Valid only on the flight date shown.
Passengers must ensure they hold a valid visitor or transit visa (if required) and a passport with at least two blank pages and a minimum validity of six months from the start of travel.
Celebes Explorer 9 requires at least 4 passengers to operate.
Due to the increased restrictions on Sipadan permits, only 10 guests per day can dive in Sipadan. The remaining guests will be arranged for diving in Mabul.
Copies of passports and diving certification cards must be provided in advance to secure a Sipadan permit. The physical diving card must be presented upon arrival at Sipadan Island.
Entry to Sipadan Island for diving or visits is subject to approval by Sabah Parks Management, which controls permit issuance. A daily limit of 240 divers/visitors applies.
Important Notice: According to Sabah Parks, Sipadan Island will be closed annually on 01-30Nov for marine life recuperation.
Effective October 1, 2022, divers at Sipadan are limited to a maximum of 2 dives per day and must have at least an Advanced Open Water (AOW) certification or equivalent.
