Itinerary
Central Atolls, The Best of Maldives
Day 1
Hong Kong – Kuala Lumpur – Malé – Hulhumale
Depart from Hong Kong and transit in Kuala Lumpur before arriving at Malé International Airport.
Upon arrival, a Dune Representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to the main boat.
Enjoy a welcome drink while listening to the Cruise Manager’s briefing. Dinner will be served on board, and you will spend your first night at Hulhumalé marina.

Day 2
South Malé to Vaavu Atoll
The trip begins with a dive at long reefs or a manta point (May–Nov only) in North and South Malé Atoll.
Corals and abundant reef life make this a perfect start to the journey.
Cruise to Vaavu Atoll for an unforgettable night dive with nurse sharks, sting rays, and jacks in their feeding frenzy.
Day 3
Vaavu Atoll to South Ari Atoll
Discover small caves, overhangs, drop-off walls, and coral-covered slopes in Vaavu Atoll.
Encounter titan triggerfish, grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks, tunas, and barracudas.
Continue west to South Ari Atoll to dive stunning pinnacles and spot larger marine life.
Day 4
South Ari Atoll
Visit the marine protected area to search for whale sharks, with chances to snorkel or dive with them.
South Ari offers thilas and wrecks with marine life such as grey reef sharks, napoleon wrasse, moray eels, and scorpionfish.
If possible, visit a nearby local island before dinner.
Day 5
South Ari Atoll to North Ari Atoll
Cruise north with a final chance to spot whale sharks.
North Ari’s deeper ocean and wider channels bring grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks, and large pelagics.
Enjoy a BBQ dinner on a desert island or a Maldivian night on board, depending on conditions.
Day 6
North Ari Atoll
Experience manta cleaning stations, extraordinary thilas, and wrecks full of marine life.
Expect eagle rays, turtles, napoleon wrasse, fusiliers, and more.
Finish the day with a manta night dive to see mantas feed up close.
Day 7
North Ari Atoll to North Malé Atoll
After one last dive in North Ari, cruise back to North Malé Atoll.
Explore long reefs, small caves, colorful corals, and abundant marine species.
Return to Hulhumalé marina in the afternoon for your final night on board.
Day 8-9
Hulhumale – Malé – Kuala Lumpur – Hong Kong
After breakfast on board, the crew will arrange your transfer to Malé International Airport.
Fly from Malé to Hong Kong via Kuala Lumpur.
End of your Maldives liveaboard journey with unforgettable memories.
