Itinerary

Day 1-2 - 02-03Aug
Hong Kong – Jakarta – Manokwari

Depart from Hong Kong via Jakarta and arrive in Manokwari. Upon arrival, meet the representative and transfer to the Aurora liveaboard for check-in and boarding.
Receive a warm welcome from the crew, settle into your cabin, and prepare your dive equipment for the upcoming expedition.

Day 3 - 04Aug
Manokwari & Pasir Putih

Start the expedition with your first dive at the Pasir Putih Wreck.
This historic wreck site is ideal for your check dive and ensures all gear is properly set for the following days. Enjoy your first glimpse of Manokwari’s underwater world.

Day 4 -05Aug
Purup Islands

Explore the thriving reefs around Purup Island, known for vibrant corals and abundant marine life.
Expect colorful fish, healthy coral formations, and excellent visibility.

Day 5 -06Aug
Roon Island

Continue your adventure with dives at Tj Ayami near Roon Island.
Enjoy stunning underwater topography, schools of fish, reef sharks, and rich marine biodiversity.

Day 6 - 07Aug
Kwatisore

A highlight of the journey—visit Kwatisore, famous for encounters with whale sharks.
Enjoy the unforgettable experience of observing and swimming alongside these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

Day 7 - 08Aug
Rouw Island

Dive the central atolls around Rouw Island, featuring colorful coral gardens, caverns, and a wide variety of marine species.

Day 8 - 09Aug
Num Island

Head to Yapen and Num Island, exploring pristine dive sites home to reef fish, pelagics, and possible sightings of manta rays and turtles.

Day 9 - 10Aug
Numfoor Island

Enjoy your final full diving day at Numfoor Island.
Immerse yourself in the spectacular underwater scenery of West Papua before returning toward Manokwari.

Day 10 -11Aug
Manokwari

Make your final dives around Manokwari’s well-known wrecks.
Explore favorite sites or discover new ones before wrapping up the diving portion of the trip.

Day 11-12 - 12-13Aug
Manokwari – Jakarta – Hong Kong

Disembark from the Aurora in Manokwari and transfer to the airport for your journey home via Jakarta.
End of an unforgettable expedition filled with thrilling dives and remarkable marine encounters.
