What impressed me the most the resort is set in a 15 hectares tropical garden, yet the swimming pools & restaurants are always a few steps away, every facilities are so conveniently located. With 7 restaurants I was never bored by the culinary choices. It's not the most luxurious or chic resort I've stayed but the room layout & decor is so comfortable that gives a really homey feel. Oh I almost forgot the beach, Oh what a beach! The length, the depth, the very white & powdery sand, the crystal clear water, Belle Mare is named The Best Beach in Mauritius and no. 7th in Africa. Trust me it does live up to it's status.
