Sri Lanka Mirissa Whale Watching, Yala Safari 5 Night

Mirissa Whale Watching: Boat-based viewing, with potential sightings of blue whales, sperm whales, dolphins, and occasionally sea turtles or manta rays.

Yala National Park: 4x4 game drives, with possible sightings of leopards (one of the highest densities populations globally), elephants, crocodiles, and various bird species (such as peacocks and hornbills).

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo (December 26, 2025)

Evening: Depart HKG on CX611. Arrive CMB Bandaranaike Airport
Night: Check into airport-area hotel for rest after late arrival.

 Day 2: Transfer to Mirissa & Beach Time (December 27 – Night 2 in Mirissa)

Morning: Late breakfast at hotel. Private transfer to Mirissa (~2h, 130 km via Southern Expressway; depart ~9:00 AM).
Afternoon: Check into hotel. Relax at Mirissa Beach, visit Coconut Tree Hill for photos, or enjoy an ayurvedic massage.

 Day 3: Mirissa Whale Watching & Transfer to Yala (December 28 – Night 3 in Yala Area)

Morning (6:00-11:00 AM): Whale watching tour from Mirissa Harbor (4-5h, ~USD 60/person, includes snacks). Observe blue whales, sperm whales, dolphins from boats (no swimming per regulations; ethical operator like Raja & the Whales maintains 100m distance).
Afternoon: Lunch, then private transfer to Yala (~2h, 113 km).
Evening: Check into lodge. 

Day 4-5: Yala Safari

Morning & Afternoon Game Drives: Jeep safari 2 times per day. Spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and birds

Day 6: Return to Colombo & Departure

Morning: Last morning Game Drives at Yala, then return to CMB for dinner (~4-5h, 250 km), you'll be send off to airport for your return flight.
