Package Rate Includes

Roundtrip economy class ticket between Hong Kong and Tawau via Kuala Lumpur by Malaysia Airlines.

Sipadan Permit
No minimum stay required to obtain the permit.
Permits are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. (Pay in advance)

Additional Sipadan Visits
The first permit must be paid in advance.
Extra visits to Sipadan are subject to availability.
Additional Sipadan dives can be requested on-site with a surcharge of RM 889 per diver per day. (Pay on-site)

Itinerary

Day 1
Hong Kong / Kuala Lumpur / Tawau

Depart from Hong Kong and arrive at Tawau Airport via Kuala Lumpur. Meet the representative and transfer to the hotel in Semporna (approx. 70-minute drive).

Day 2
Semporna – Mabul Island

After breakfast, transfer to Mabul Island by boat (approx. 45 minutes).
Enjoy the scenic journey to the resort.

Day 3-4
Mabul Island

Enjoy 3 boat dives each day and unlimited shore dives. Explore vibrant coral reefs, swim with turtles and sharks, and discover colorful marine life.

Day 5
Tawau / Kuala Lumpur / Hong Kong

After breakfast, enjoy free time before transferring back to Tawau Airport and return to Hong Kong via Kuala Lumpur.

Sipadan permit fee: RM 889 per person per day (subject to 8% service tax).

The single supplement applies to accommodation only. Solo travelers should check with us for transfer supplement details.Passengers must ensure they hold a valid visitor or transit visa (if required) and a passport with at least two blank pages and a minimum validity of six months from the start of travel.
No diving is allowed on arrival and departure days, even if you are not flying.
Copies of passports and diving certification cards must be provided in advance to secure a Sipadan permit. The physical diving card must be presented upon arrival at Sipadan Island.
Entry to Sipadan Island for diving or visits is subject to approval by Sabah Parks Management, which controls permit issuance. A daily limit of 240 divers/visitors applies.
Important Notice: According to Sabah Parks, Sipadan Island will be closed annually on 01-30Nov for marine life recuperation.
Effective October 1, 2022, divers at Sipadan are limited to a maximum of 2 dives per day and must have at least an Advanced Open Water (AOW) certification or equivalent.
Kindly be informed that our dining hall at Land Resort is closed. Therefore, all meals will be served at our Water Bungalow restaurant. Guests can slowly walk from the land resort’s jetty and enjoy the view (distance is around 10 minutes) or can request a buggy to pick up, but the buggy will usually take some time. Normally it is every hour. You can wait at the buggy station. The team will inform you where it is located after you have checked in to the resort.
