Itinerary
Day 01
Durban
Arrival at Durban International Airport (KSIA) - transfer to Durban City Lodge Hotel for 1 night stay.
Day 02
Durban
You will be greeted by the crews, who will brief you on what to expect from your trip. Transfer to the Mbotyi River Lodge by road, which is approximately a four-hour scenic drive from the airport. At check-in you will be given a brief orientation of the following days’ events, and informed on other activities on offer in and around the area.
Day 03-09
Durban
Daily Schedule
06:45 : Continental Breakfast (packed breakfast supplied for occasional 06:30 am launches)
07:00 : Microlight launches and begins recon
07:30 : Dive Teams launch
11:00 : Light lunch and refreshments available onboard throughout the day
13:30 : Approximate time back on-shore - dependent on action and weather conditions
16:00 : Afternoon activity (own expense) -
Microlight flight, horse riding, sundown cocktails, trail-hikes,
witchdoctor visit, culture village tour
19:00 : 3 course dinner, next day activity planning and good times
Day 10
Durban
Breakfast will be served at the lodge before check out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
